Become a Volunteer!

When you volunteer, you are giving something back to the community, and you have the knowledge that you are helping make Port Colborne's festivals a success for thousands of residents and visitors each year.

The City of Port Colborne is looking for volunteers to assist at the Annual Lighted Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, Dec. 7 and at the New Year’s Eve Family Celebration, Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Volunteer Safety Ambassadors are needed for the Santa Claus Parade from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. These individuals will enforce safety by preventing cars from passing road closures and stopping pedestrians from crossing unsafely during the parade. Volunteers for the New Year’s Eve Family Celebration are needed to monitor and manage the games, mad scientist and cookie decorating stations from approximately 1 - 6 p.m.

PORTicipate as a volunteer this holiday season and ring in the New Year with the City of Port Colborne! If interested, email volunteers@portcolborne.ca or call 905-835-2900 ext. 566.
